Wir hätten uns mindestens sechs USB 3.2 Gen2 gewünscht. Sehr gut finden wir, dass wir auf drei mit Kühlern ausgestattete M.2-Slots zurückgreifen können.Uns konnte das MSI MEG X570 UNIFY überzeugen und erhält von uns 9,4 von 10 Punkten und unsere Empfehlung.

In terms of build quality, MSI has improved almost every aspect of the original ACE and MAXed it out on this motherboard. The abundance of heatsinks make sure that the VRMs and power delivery components get plenty of cooling and in fact, I was really surprised to see MSI's use of thick thermal pads across the board, especially the M.2 slots where all four slots get double-sided pads.

Neben verschiedenen Features für Overclocking, kann das Mainboard auch mit schnellen Schnittstellen aufwarten. Dazu gehören neben einem 2,5 GbE-Interface auch USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (Type-C) mit satten 20 Gbps sowie mehrere USB 3.2 Gen2 Ports (Type-A) mit bis zu 10 Gbps. Insgesamt sechs PCIe Gen4-Ports mit Shield Frozr Heatsinks erlauben eine üppige Massenspeicher-Ausstattung und bestmögliche Kühlung von High-End-SSDs für dauerhafte hohe Leistung. Beim Thema Kühlung verfolgt das Unify-X Max ein schlüssiges Gesamtkonzept, denn auch der PCH („Platform Controller Hub“) des X570S-Chipsatzes verzichtet auf aktive Kühlung und setzt auf einen großflächigen Kühlkörper. Die Kühlung der VRMs steht beim MEG X570S Unify-X Max ebenfalls mit im Mittelpunkt, weshalb der Hersteller nicht nur eine separate VRM-Backplate angebracht hat, sondern die Wärmeentwicklung auch über eine Heatpipe auf zwei große Kühlkörper verteilt. Die Platine eignet sich hervorragend für Interessenten, die keine Luxusausstattung benötigen und gleichzeitig nicht all zu viel Geld in die Hand nehmen möchten. Wir haben das Board ausführlich getestet.

Alle Boards mit VRM-Kühler hatten keine Probleme mit höheren Lasten, selbst wenn die Spannungswandlerverluste bei dem einen oder anderen Board höher lagen. Wenn ich später die Boards ohne Kühlkörper messe, dann geschieht dies lediglich zu Demonstrationszwecken und nicht deshalb, weil eines der Boards für seine Aufgabe ungeeignet gewesen wäre. Die Bauelementeauswahl unterliegt stets auch Kostenzwängen, so dass man natürlich auch Abstriche akzeptieren muss, solange die Funktionalität und mögliche Haltbarkeit nicht nachweislich beeinflusst werden.

Das MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON bietet mit PCI-Express 4.0 eine zukunftssichere Schnittstelle und bietet auch die Unterstützung von M.2-SSDs mit PCI-Express 4.0 Standard. Beides wird unteranderem vom X570-Chipsatz geboten. Dazu wird allerdings ein RYZEN-Prozessor der 3. Generation benötigt. Des Weiteren gefällt uns auch das Design gut.

The MEG X570 ACE is an attractive, refined motherboard. The VRM is the most sophisticated and overbuilt I have seen so far, and the integrated rear I/O shield is an excellent touch that adds to the elegance of the board. The M.2 heatsinks mount with just a single screw even is captive so it won't get lost; all in all, this design is extremely well thought out.
