Anders als bei den bisherigen Modellen der GeForce-RTX-30-Serie gibt es von der GeForce RTX 3060 keine Founders Edition und NVIDIA überlässt seinen Partner vollständig den Markt. NVIDIA has released another RTX 3000 series SKU onto the market, in this review, we check out the GeForce RTX 3060, and yeah that's the non-Ti model. This Ampere GPU-based graphics card series is based on a generous 12GB, but then has 3584 shading processors activated (less than available on the actual GPU). Much has been said, rumored, and spoken about this card. And weird it is that it's released after the Ti model made a fashionable introduction.

The RTX 3060 is Nvidia’s latest chipset and obviously sits just below the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti. That makes it the new entry-level card for the RTX 3000 series, and it should have an MSRP of £299. Of course, more expensive models, such as the MSI Gaming X Trio we’re reviewing, will cost more. It uses a lot more premium materials and technologies that enhance performance and aesthetics. What’s interesting about the RTX 3060 is the hardware. The 3060 Ti features 4864 CUDA cores at 1.67 GHz, while the 3060 only has 3584 CUDA cores, but they’re running at 1.78 GHz, and the card now has 12GB of VRAM compared to the 8 GB of the RTX 3060 Ti. How will they impact the performance? Well, that’s what we’re here to find out!

The MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming X TRIO is a beautiful card, but it comes at a steep price tag for those in America.
