Should You Buy Borderlands 3? Yes, it’s an excellent looter-shooter that will satisfy all fans of the genre and series. The only people that might get disappointed are those that were still dumping tons of hours into Borderlands 2 recently as it feels very similar to previous games.

Borderlands 3 sticks to its guns and outdoes itself with an amazing arsenal of weapons, humor, and missions.

If you've never been a fan of the franchise, it's unlikely Borderlands 3 does enough things differently to change your mind, as the game best excels at continuing what the series has always done: deliver a humorous tall tale of misfits looting and shooting their way to heroism.

Borderlands 3 takes most of the good bits of Borderlands 2 and either rolls with them or improves upon them. It didn't need to reinvent the wheel either, as Gearbox pretty much had the formula figured out the second time around.

Gearbox treads familiar ground in this lengthy adventure, tossing out jokes and guns with equally wild abandon.

Despite some lingering issues with the formula as a whole, Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles has a little more heart in it than the first DLC. It can drag at times with samey enemies, but the premise, and the smaller more intimate cast focus, carries it. So far Gearbox is two-for-two on the season pass, but only just.

Guns, Love, and Tentacles is a solid, but safe, Borderlands 3 expansion with an awesome Lovecraftian aesthetic.

Mit Bounty of Blood stellt Gearbox erneut unter Beweis, wieviel Leidenschaft man in seine DLCs steckt. Mit einem stilvollen Setting, dem dazu passenden Soundtrack und völlig neuen Charakteren zieht Gehenna alle Kammerjäger direkt in seinen Bann. Fun, novel, and brimming with loot, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption is the best of Borderlands 3's DLC batch so far.

Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood just tries to do so many things that it ends up becoming a cacophony of concepts. It's still Borderlands 3 though; which is always a plus.

Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is a bizarre odyssey through Kreig’s cranium that holds one great boss battle but few other surprises.

Although it can feel slow-going at times, Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck benefits from its lore-heavy framework and a clear focus on one major character. If Gearbox has anything to say about it, this isn't the end of Borderlands 3's DLC, despite the fact that this is the final expansion of the first season pass.
